The second one is Ms. Hepburn from Breakfast at Tiffany's which I recently saw for the first time. As I understand it, the movie is about a couple of prostitutes living outside their means, frequenting strip clubs, colluding with criminals, and getting drunk in the middle of the day. But it was the 60's so its adorable? Also, racist.

SO! I've had really short hair for a couple of years now:

It's cute, I dig it. But I've had it for a while and I'm getting a little bored with one style.

Also sometimes they cut it crazy short and I look like a dude.

But every time I let it grow out UNFLATTERING MUSHROOM HAIR occurs.

Also, I'm getting braces in a month. Should I just throw in the towel for a year and accept that I'm going to be awkward in EVERY WAY?

And in two years I could be totally hot!

Or, you know. The same. But with more hair.

Some Downton Abbey fan art, some self-portraiture of me with effin spacers in my teeth. THEY HURT LIKE A B-WORD. But I refuse to eat soft food! Cuz pudding sucks.
And also some Donald Glover, because really I have the most inappropriately huge crush on that guy. He was in my dream last night, WE FLIRTED. But then I had to get on a plane to find a location to bury the secret castle. And a baby on the plane was looking at me wryly. He knew what was up.

I've been crazy busy lately, what with doing real work and going on trips and having actual things to do! Fortunately I managed to squeeze in a little inconsequential doodle nonsense. For you, dear reader, for you.

I was drawing a heartwarming scene of maternal bliss and immediately thought better of it.

This is just what happens every morning when I wake up.

THIS is what happens when you fly Alaskan Airlines to Seattle next to a hot mom and her TWO HORRIBLE CHILDREN. Keep in mind, for most of the flight they were screaming and kicking. When they FINALLY calmed down was when that damned double espresso kicked in >_<

And while I was in Seattle, my LA peeps went out to camp in the woods like a bunch of damn dirty hippies. Stoner Bear only wants to party, bra!

Throwing together some more Sketch Art examples for the old portfolio. Since all the stuff I've done for actual clients is all flipping non-disclosable!
I don't think that The Devil's Double was the best movie of the summer or anything, but it was actually pretty fascinating. Some of the stuff Uday Hussein did in the movie seemed so far fetched that I went and looked up online what he's actually done in real life (well, according to Wikipedia). But this guy was actually legitimately insane! He tortured olympic athletes, raped women he picked up off the street, murdered some folks. Killed his dad's buddy with an electric meat-carving knife at a party! Also, he had a personal collection of lions and cheetahs....what.
Anyways Dominic Cooper did a pretty spectacular job as Latif and Uday. Although I thought he looked a lot less like them, and a lot more like Freddy Mercury. Now THAT's a biopic I would watch. Make it happen, Hollywood!

Just this past week I moved all my earthly possessions across the city to a new apartment. I had a couple of big furniture-type things and thought SURELY driving a UHaul truck would be a cheap and safe method of transporting my crap across town. I mean, how hard could it be? Like driving a big car, surely. OH MY GOD. It was like driving a BOAT. I can't believe they just let people rent these things! It's a metric ton of steel, barrelling down the 405, being driven by some poor sucker who's never been in anything larger than a Prius...I'm suprised more people aren't killed in UHaul accidents every day!

Anyways, I got all my stuff there without incident, which was a minor miracle. Although I don't think those hedges will ever be the same...

Okay! So here's a bunch of stuff that I've done lately. Yeah, it's mostly Harry Potter fan art but that is NOT MY FAULT. I'm super-duper mega-broke so I've been doing some commissions and the people want Potter.

I'm pretty happy with how these came out but I'm posting them as a starting off point. I'd like to do stuff that's loser and faster than this, while still looking finished-y. And not being Harry Potter. And no snuggly things! Don't tell anybody, but snuggly couples make me want to barf on my feet.
