Yeah, Game of Thrones! Just finished the first book in the Song of Ice and Fire series. Love iiiiiiiit. Oh Arya, you are my faves. I just hope they don't make you suck in the HBO series!

Anyways, I might just do a bunch of these, since I do so like the books AND...the characters are generic looking enough that I could put them in my portfolio if I wanted without someone going HEY THAT'S TOTALLY HARRY POTTER.

Mindless Self Indulgence

Here's some stuff that I drew for my own enjoyment. Secretly I like to draw bright, messy stuff.

And this is a self-portrait of little-me I did today. I feel like a good portion of my Mom's mid-thirties were spent trying to get me to drag a comb through my hair. Sorry Mom, I had to go play in the dirt! And then I grew up and chopped it all off and haven't touched a comb in years. Take THAT, personal grooming!

And also Lisbeth Salander from the Girl with the Dragon Tatoo books. Cuz she's the coolest nordic crime-solving sociopath I know!

Potter, you rotter!

Okay! So here's a bunch of stuff that I've done lately. Yeah, it's mostly Harry Potter fan art but that is NOT MY FAULT. I'm super-duper mega-broke so I've been doing some commissions and the people want Potter.

I'm pretty happy with how these came out but I'm posting them as a starting off point. I'd like to do stuff that's loser and faster than this, while still looking finished-y. And not being Harry Potter. And no snuggly things! Don't tell anybody, but snuggly couples make me want to barf on my feet.

Hey so I guess I have a blog now

Uh oh! Apparently it's all aboard the Art Blog(!) train. I guess this is the thing to do for budding young doodlebugs like myself. Lets see if I update it!

I guess my goal here is to make myself post something awesome every day and thus, improve my skillz. Although I guess employers and professionals look at these things so...no swear words? Or inappropriate jokes?...these are going to be short posts.
