So I've had this idea banging around for a while. It's set in the future and involves high-flying extra-terrestrial adventures and an all-girl crew. Because action-oriented multi-racial girl characters are underrepresented in children's literature, by golly!

So anyways, the other day I made this Aloe Vera plant as a prop for one of the environments and I thought to myself "Well THAT turned out quite nicely". So here you go, the loveliest plant.
The problem with having a couple days off of work is that you get used to these glorious afternoon naps. And then work starts back up again and no afternoon nap seems like the cruelest hardship!
I really wanted to doodle tonight but I couldn't think of anything good so I just chronicled the haps around the apartment. Except for the girl with the bird, I don't know what the heck that is.
