2016: What was it? Who done it? Where did it go?

Hey! So another year has passed and I haven't updated at all! So what did Tristyn draw in 2016? Here's all of it. Without explanation. GOOD LUCK.

Master Update!!

Oh man, it's been awhile! I've been updating the ol' Tumblr religiously but blogging is so 2011, you know? Anyways, here's what I've been doing in my free time the last couple of months. Lets play spot the fandom! I'll give you a hint...it's mostly Star Wars.

Look, I'm a fan, this is my art.

 Newt Scamander fan art!
I don’t really know what the movie’s about except that Newt Scamander goes to 1920′s New York city to look for some Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. So obviously there are magical sewer alligators because this is the Goddamn United States of America.

And some Super Girl because I want it to be great. I BELIEVE IT COULD BE GREAT.

Magnus Chase and the Blogs of Asgard

Magnus Chase! Cards on the table, I haven’t finished the book yet. But I draw more furiously than I read, it can’t be helped!

Formicidal Tendencies

Could it be, is Formicide really almost finished? Might these be the last few props I fashion for the most epic video-game debut of 2015?  Surely not! Surely Matt will fall into a well and it will never be done!  You're always so thoughtless around wells, Matt. It will be the end of you.

Blockages

Yesterday I had one of those art-block days. I felt like I'd used up all the inspiration in my reserves so I just made myself sketch whatever was on the internet.

Except for this Sparrow who walked up to me in real life. Starbucks sparrows, man.

My descent into madness

So work has been crazy slow lately! Slower than it's been in over a year, I'd say. With each passing day I retreat further into my Harry Potter mindscape. There's no coming back, I fear. Tell my children I love them.

First, the Marauders, having a Maraud. You envision James, Remus, Sirius and Peter having all sorts of high-flying adventures on the Hogwarts grounds but if I know teenagers, AND I DON’T, I imagine they mostly just dicked around.
And a vignette of Weasleys. I figure Hermione would be the kind of lady who takes her work home with her, and Ron’s the sort of chap who makes a supportive tea and sandwich tray on a Sunday afternoon.
